Also, look at the armor Lineage 2 has, textures look beautiful (they're like fissure armor but better!):

Too bad the gameplay in Lineage 2 is a complete grind and the story is practically not there (the entire game is "kill boss, get loot"). I played it for a while on free servers. It's fun until you realize it'll take you 6 months to get to the "fun" part.

More unique designs are always welcome. But yeah, oversized weapons are really entering that cliche of overcompensating for something lacking...

I believe it was me who made a suggestion before of giving us rarity within weapon upgrades to give various weapon effects:

Blue Fiery Sword Hilt = No effect
Purple Fiery Sword hilt = Burning Sword
Gold Fiery Sword hilt= Burning sword + Burning trail

same with shocking and icy. zealous and vampiric would get their own efffects.

It would at more "style" to the weapons.

I dont know about you though, but i played L2, and though it was very pretty, and stylish, it was very hollow and boring and annoying in the end.

Id rather take gameplay over graphics anyday.

That being said, i think SOME weapons could use a little size adjustments like:

Vertebreaker = Slightly bigger
Oni Blade= slightly bigger
Tribal sword = MUCH larger
Gavel of Nephilim = move slightly so we are holding it better...it just looks funny as is.

I feel that the majority of the axes in game are fine as is, since they are 1 handed axes.

Im very satisfied with a majority of the weapon design on GW, and theres very few "ugly" weapons, to me.

Besides, most people that play this watch anime, you guys are the minority. And the Devs will probably add stuff that the majority of players like. I Don't think this is asking to have every weapon really big, that'd be pretty bad.
I watch anime and manga now and then. I still don't want GW to have silly looking weapons that are "oversized" and look off and out of place. If the devs added them, so be it. If they don't, all the better IMO.

I do not think the devs add things by popular demand though. Look at the most requested things in the forums. RPG district; auction house; general storage; etc... these things are higly requested but may not "fit" into what the devs see GW should do. So we do not see them.

Again; higher rez textures (variable so lower end PCs can adapt) and more detailed models (using LoD so lower end PCs can adapt).

Edit: Love your idea Lyra /cheer
